- TUJazz
Multipad @Larnell_Lewis @TUJazzFest masterclass, making music with 12 triggers rolling each through 4 banks of samples in suspended chords. Previewing concert later in the evening, where most of new album will be played. Session started with some drumming, then counting to 3 while clapping to 4, followed by questions and answers in the philosophy of learning to become a musician. (Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival, Mel Lastman Square, North York, Ontario) 20180908 - TUAS party
Spring break for Aalto U. engineering students, jousting at party in Tuas house parking lot. Hot tub in background, naked engineers but no females participating. Sunny day, temperature above freezing isn't like Daytona Beach. (Espoo, Finland) 20120410 1635 - TTC track construction
Lining up streetcar rails on Queen Street just west of Leslie Street. Cause of traffic rerouting, but there isn't much pavement right now. (Toronto) 20140612 - TTC Leslie Barns
Maintenance pit @TTCLeslieBarns @Doors_OpenTO under streetcar. Facilities are well lit and brightly coloured, seems like a good working environment. Outside, rode around tracks with tight curves, then streetcar drove through washing and sanding stations. (TTC Leslie Barns, Lake Shore Boulevard East, Toronto, Ontario) 20160528 - Trying out glassware
At the Libbey Factory Outlet in Toledo, appreciating the large variety of shapes for drinking glasses. We prefer shapes that fit the hand, but can they also be modern? - Trudeau Airport
Not yet in Brussels, French language announcements on terminal. Brief stop in Montreal, booked loose connection so no stress on flight departing late. Moose, hockey and maple syrup are enduring symbols for Canada. (Trudeau Airport, Montreal, Quebec) 20150922 - Trompe d'oeil mural
Not a back door into a garden on the west side of Bleeker Street south of Wellesley Street, but instead some brightness on the long brick wall of Fudger House. Paint is fading, could use a retouch. - Triton Museum of Art
Steel "Hibiscus" by Bill Gould @ArtikA3 inside @TritonMuseum rotunda, even though it's an waist-high outdoor sculpture that could weather whatever climate. Part of large exhibition with orange slices on wires hanging under the skylight. Sunday afternoon reception with popcorn and jellybeans attracted a large audience for Statewide 2D Competition and Exhibition. (Triton Museum of Art, City of Santa Clara, California) 20170312 - Trinity Square Park
Noon @DowntownYonge @esltrio #playtheparks under the canopy on a sunny summer day. Playing instrumental versions of familiar tunes, more pop than jazz. Took a request to play bossa nova, responded with a Jobim medley. Bassist and drummer challenged keeping up on short guitar solo of Bright Size Life. (Trinity Square Park, Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario) 20170711 - Trinity College Quad
Entered from north gate to annual book sale. Rainy, so came by car instead of by bike. As usual, found a few systems research books not available in the public library. (Trinity College Quadrangle, Toronto) 20151024 - Trinity College 8T0 35th reunion
Actually 39 years since first meeting many of this University of Toronto class at orientation week. Wine tasting in the Combinations Room, a place to to gather while dining from the buffet in Strachan Hall, then continuing to a pub on Harbord Street. Mostly recognized the faces, names were aided by wearing labels. Group photo at 8:15 p.m., for the people who could hang on that long. (Trinity College, University of Toronto) 20150530 Photo album at goo.gl/photos/LMe7umtd4mVioUVX7 - Trinity Bellwoods Park
Bust of Simon Bolivar looking over Farmers Market on late Tuesday afternoon. Lots of bikes and baby strollers in the denser west end of town. I was riding the bike without baskets, so no shopping, just tourism. (Trinity Bellwoods Farmers Market, Dundas Street West at Shaw Street, Toronto, Ontario) 20160823 - Trillium Park
Bridge over the lit ravine walls with Moccasin Identifiers, northbound at dusk from Ontario Place towards the Martin Goodman Trail and Lakeshore Boulevard. Biked south through the CNE grounds with barricades in progress for the Indy race in two weeks, then east by the marina. (Trillium Park, Ontario Place Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario) 20170705 - Trees sculpture, Stephen Ave
Ten stainless steel 20-plus-metre sculptures, built on concrete caissons that extend to almost the same depth underground. On the Stephen Avenue (8th Ave. SW) pedestrian mall at 3rd St. SW in downtown Calgary. Donated by Trizec Hahn Office Properties to the city in 2000, with Cohos Evamy Partners Architect, directed by Jablonsky, Ast And Partners, fabricated by Empire Iron Works (Calgary, Alberta) 20120328 1750 - Treasure Island Sirens
Almost trampled by Asian women tourists recoiling from the heat in performance of Sirens of Treasure Island on humid Las Vegas evening. Performers might have been more emotive if they weren't lipsynching, and actually sang, instead. (Las Vegas, NV) 20120430 2032
