- Riverside neighbourhood
Snow outside our bedroom window onto the street for the first day of December strikes fear into morning commuters. South of Queen Street East, just east of the Don River, we have a microclimate, so precipitation melted to wetness by later in day. Three weeks to winter solstice, and then we hope for brighter days. (Riverside neighbourhood, Toronto, Ontario) 20201201 - Foro Del Tejedor
Our plans were not for a concert bellydancing with @sonorabalkanera, we had right venue but tickets for the wrong night. Usher was gracious to seat us in the balcony for this show. Voiceover that Bridging Mexico to Yugoslavia is Difficult reflected some of genre with modern instruments. Small theatre was intimate, couple on the ground floor energetically dancing. (Foro Del Tejedor, Roma Norte, Mexico City) 20191221 - Beaches Jazz Streetfest

Voluptuous hybrid tea rose is one of the many varieties in bloom, on the high slopes of west Portland. Busy summer day with lots of families speaking foreign languages, appreciating the natural beauty. Not much time to linger in the garden, on our way to the airport. Father with small net skimming somethings from top of pond, and placing into small bucket for son. Game players involved in own activities in the background. Tuesday is still an extended Qingming weekend holiday, the park was popular with families. (People's Park, Shanghai, P R China) 20170404 - The Grad Club
Leisurely roast beef with Yorkshire pudding lunch in university pub. Snowy walk across campus, weather is more wintery in this region than back home. (The Grad Pub, Middlesex Center, Western University, London, Ontario) 20170210 - Jennifer Wilby, Systems Methodologies
ISSS 2016 Boulder plenary - John Fullerton, Health Systems Balance Multiple Variables
ISSS 2016 Boulder plenary - Eastern Iowa Airport
Wooden blinds in skylight providing shade to sunny Iowa heat. Drive to airport routed past fields of tall corn, alongside the gravel road, the two-lane blacktop, and then divided highway. Returning home after 18 days in the U.S. of conference, then isolated writing and reviews, seems like a European tour, but the jet lag will be minimal.
