Sought out obscure installation on the campus of Industrial Light and Magic, at the northeast corner of the Presidio lands. Happened across the Skywalker Room, as we wandered about the site. Medal and trophy for Professor David Lam, recognition of "Outstanding Doctor" by the Chinese Government, including founding the oldest acupuncture school in Canada. He declined to travel to China for the ceremony, so the honours were shipped to him. I haven't visited in 5 years, and wanted a more systemic diagnosis combined with experiences in both Chinese and western medicine. Prescribed not a single herb, but a complex combination. (Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dupont Street, Toronto, Ontario) 20181123 - Rickshaw Restaurant
Revisited the place I knew as a child 60 years ago as Queen's Cafe, where our family had a start in this small town. The basic layout is the same, with a section raised a small step to the east, and the kitchen beyond. The counter facing the south wall with pies in refrigerator cases and milkshake makers is gone, with small tables now in front of a mirror. The room looks smaller, of course, beyond the perspective of a 4-year old. (Rickshaw Restaurant, Muskoka Road South, Gravenhurst, Ontario) 20190831 - The Monocoque, Moline Airport
Retired aircraft hanging from airport terminal ceiling - DI_20170620 134849 YorkUConvo pre-arrival

Deep thinking covering a lot of territory in less than 2 hours. A return visit when university is in session is called for. (Systems Thinking Ontario, Lambert Lounge, OCAD University, 100 McCaul Street, Toronto, Ontario) 20160518 - Richmond Station

- Loblaws 60 Carlton
Appreciating orderly social distancing by Torontonians @LoblawsCarlton lined up around the block, on a clear Saturday late afternoon with temperature hovering around freezing. No shopping for me, just bicycling for fresh air and exercise along relatively quiet city streets. Our citizens aren't totally locked down, we trust each other to maturely use our own judgement.
