Art installation @sangminl (2019) How to Fix a Broken Home, fills project space @xpacecc . Subtle East Asian influences with bananas of varying ripeness, large bags of rice, and Bart and Marge Simpson with bright yellow skin. Japanese handbell on path to becoming a family heirloom, handed down from grandfather, now through father to daughters. Celebration of life for an artist who led a quiet life, remembered by spouse as a square who became a hippie. Our children played together in the parenting centre, when we first moved downtown. (Forest Lawn Crematorium, Yonge Street, North York, Ontario) 20191129 - Palmerston casual dinner

- Toronto Reference Library
Second day @changepaths @Challengfactory @fernlebo #TheTalentRevolution book launched @torontolibrary, where the authors often met. - CANSEE 2019
Learning from @ktkish and son Logan @CANSEE_org covering @DaveMallery varying #DrSeuss on "Oh, The Things You CAN'T Think" on how #EcologicalEconomics could learn from a deeper appreciation of SystemsTheory. Citing #HowardTOdum, #KennethBoulding, #NicholasGeorgescuRoegen and #IlyaProgogine sparked recollections from @DavidLHawk who had met three of the four. While much of #EcologicalEconomics has swung towards the nonmaterial, #IndustrialEcology is largely material. (Canadian Society for Ecological Economics 2019 meeting, Centre for International Governance Innovation campus, Erb Street, Waterloo, Ontario) 20190523 - DI_20161012 152719 CSI Spadina public space

- Fortune Seafood Restaurant
Family dinner on holiday weekend, with everyone back in town. Lobster, peking duck and a series of course. Tofu casserole with shrimp an unfortunate order for a vegan with an shellfish allergy, we added a late request for a mapo tofu dish. (Fortune Seafood Restaurant, Midland Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario) 20190901 - Tortilleria Cuauhtemoc
Masa dough feeding into a press at small stall of #TortilleriaCuauhtemoc in back of our local #MercadoCuauhtemoc for fresh flatbread packaged to go, with salsas and guacamole on the side. From our apartment, we walk a few blocks for fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as sampling the centre aisle of open kitchens. The neighbourhood otherwise has convenience stores, but we haven't encountered any major chains, since we arrived. (Tortilleria Cuauhtemoc, Mercado Cuauhtemoc, Calle Rio Lerma, Mexico City) 20191219 - Social Innovation and its Trade-offs
